Kopi with the MP is coming up on 13th June 2008! Our invited MP is Mr Teo Ser Luck (Pasir Ris-Punggol GRC, Senior Parliamentary Secretary, Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports & Ministry of Transport). The launch of the Hwa Chong JRA website will also occur on that day!

Establishment of the Website

Today marks the birth of the Hwa Chong JRA Website! Most of the links are not up yet, but do watch this space. New features, including a weblog and a forum, would be coming your way soon. So do watch out!

What is REACH?

REACH (reaching everyone for active citizenry @ home – http://www.reach.gov.sg/) was set up in October 2006 as part of the restructuring plans for the Feedback Unit to move beyond gathering public feedback, and to become the lead agency for engaging and connecting with citizens.

With Feedback Unit celebrating its 21st anniversary in 2006, it is timely to set up REACH to engage and reach out to as many Singaporeans and permanent residents as possible. The new unit signifies its renewed commitment to develop and promote an active citizenry through citizen participation and involvement.

REACH invites everyone to come forward and share ideas, and to take upon themselves by working out solution together with the Government to shape the home we want.
